Dr. Woo Sung Jung
Dr. Woo Sung Jung was born in South Korea and spent his pre-school and kindergarten years in Edinburgh, Scotland. His family then moved to Ames, IA, where he attended elementary school, then returned to South Korea for middle and high school.
Dr. Jung moved back to the US to attend California State University, Long Beach, where he majored in microbiology and lost his Scottish accent. He subsequently attended New York University College of Dentistry for his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree. Dr. Jung has studied dental implant placement extensively and recently became a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.
Dr. Jung has written a research paper on extremophiles and received a Certificate of Special Congressional Recognition from Loretta Sanchez, Member of Congress. In his free time, Dr. Jung has made dental mission trips to Tijuana and Oaxaca, Mexico, and hopes to make these trips a regular part of his schedule in the near future.
Jennefer
Office Manager
Jennefer has been with Garland Grove Dentistry since 2006 and is a native of Bogota, Columbia. She holds a foreign language degree from Javeriana University in Bogota and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biblical Studies and Counseling from Criswell College in Dallas.
As our office manager, Jennefer enjoys getting to meet new people and developing new and long-lasting relationships. She is proud to be able to make a difference in our patients' lives by educating them about their dental needs to help them achieve a beautiful, healthy smile.
Outside of work, Jennefer likes to spend time with family and friends, enjoys traveling, working out, and running.
Amy
Dental Hygienist
Amy started her career in dentistry at age 18, working as a front desk assistant. She then decided to go to college to become a dental hygienist, and in 2008, Amy graduated from Tyler Junior College dental hygiene program. Amy is also certified in laser bacterial reduction to provide safe, comfortable periodontal treatment.
A native of Crandall, TX, Amy joined Garland Grove Dentistry in 2010. She loves helping patients learn to prevent gum disease by caring for their teeth and gums and providing gentle periodontal treatment when needed. Amy’s patients are like family to her, and she appreciates that each patient is unique. She listens to their concerns and personalizes treatment to meet their needs.
In her free time, Amy likes working out, going to the lake with her family, fishing, and camping in Broken Bow, OK. She looks forward to trying out new restaurants and enjoys life with her family and friends.
A great experience every time I go! There’s nothing like going to the Dentist office and knowing the people who work there are so professional, genuine, and kind.
